In responding to legitimate concerns from Washington residents who want to the state to move quicker to safely re-opening the economy, Governor Inslee insulted their views by stating these people must want all people over 60 to die.  Yet, the Group Lead of Inslee’s partisan “Public Health and Health Care System Community Leaders Group,” Brian Cladoosby, is a Swinomish leader and the tribe is defying Governor Inslee’s orders by reopening its Anacortes casino and allowing hundreds of people to gather and gamble.  (FYI – Skagit County has not been cleared by Governor Inslee to move to Phase II, never mind allowing crowds of over a hundred to gather.)  Inslee has previously shown his support for tribal casinos opening by stating, “I hope that they are very, very successful.”  The incredible hypocrisy is brain-numbing. The governor wishes his campaign contributors financial success while they defy his orders, but claims a small store owner (who doesn’t contribute to Inslee’s campaigns) wants to kill all senior citizens.  (Q13’s The Divide, Safe Start Advisory Group Members, GoSkagit, Seattle Times

Embattled Employment Security Department’s Commissioner obtained her current post based solely on one factor – she raised money for Democrat candidates.  The New York Times revealed she had raised $2.3 million for Barrack Obama’s campaigns and the Center for Responsive Politics says she raised over $400,000 for other Democrat candidates.  With an expensive re-election campaign coming up, Governor Inslee is not going to fire someone with these fundraising connection, even if she is responsible for costing taxpayers “hundreds of millions of dollars” and not delivering promised financial relief to thousands of Washington State residents. Todd Myers of the Washington Policy Center followed up on his recent Wall Street Journal article by appearing on Fox News to discuss how the Left is weakening “science” with its political rhetoric.  By falsely claiming their views are based on “science,” they are like the boy who cried wolf in that the public has become cynical when real science is used. Source: ShiftWA.org A new report from the Washington Policy Center exposes a significant contradiction from a major promotor (and likely benefactor) of the Democrats’ Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) proposal.    Tim Zenk, a high-priced Washington State lobbyist for the Norwegian company Naste (which will financially benefit from the higher energy costs Jay Inslee wants to impose on Washington residents) testified at a state House hearing that California has lower gas prices now than when it passed its LCFS in 2011 (the truth is prices are higher).  Despite facts not being on Zenk’s side in WA, it also appears clear that his employer knows the truth about a cost-raising LCFS. After all, Naste representatives told California regulators not to impose a cap on how high an LCFS could increase fuel costs, and allow gas prices to continue to climb (and make it profitable for them to develop more expensive energy sources). Source: ShiftWA.org Rumor has it that Governor Inslee is expected to release his next budget proposal on Thursday, December 17 th  (he is constitutionally required to submit this by December 20 th ).  In the coming days, we will provide some good ideas which we do not expect to be included the governor’s proposed July 2021 – June 2023 budget, and some bad ideas which we unfortunately do expect to be in that proposal.  We’ll start our budget effort off with an easy one: We do not expect the governor to financially assist parents who have taken over the responsibility and financial burden of educating their children.  Washington State school districts receive approximately $16,000 per student from federal, state, and local revenue sources, with currently none of that money going directly to families which are now hosting the school in their homes.
